Summary:

This project involved the alteration and addition of an upper level to an existing brick home. This renovation consisted of many large spans which were primarily solved using steel beams and timber floor joists. The upper level was constructed in brick veneer. This project has a great use of light by way of skylights, glass roofs and colour. There is a nice use of recycled hardwood as columns and benchtops. The kitchen is a nice mix of stainless steel and polyurethane paint. I feel the owner and architect maximised the use of materials for money spent.
